Profile

Naropa University is a private, PhD-granting university in Boulder, Colorado. It is a Buddhist institution, and was the only major Buddhist university in North America prior to the founding of Hsi Lai University and Soka University in California. Naropa is the home of the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics and the Allen Ginsberg Library. Interestingly, it is possible to receive a BA in Eastern Arts with a concentration in either tai chi, yoga, or Aikido.
